Paper bead earrings

Vuala!!!

We've finally got around to packaging our paper bead earrings with these super cute bottles!!!! Took us around the world to find them but it was well worth the effort.

These little monsters are made from Japanese papers wrapped around a wooden bead then coated with a sealant and turned into cute little earrings. At first we popped them on cardboard backs but we think the new packaging works much better!

With Christmas just around the corner we weren't sure if we would finish them on time, but now we can finally relax a bit... Phew...

Were very excited that we are stocking some of our cards to Image Paperie on Glenferrie Rd corner High street.

Image Paperie have an awesome range of papers, from Chiyogami to Nepalese and Italian papers.
An awesome thing about them is that they also make lamp shades at really affordable prices, small start at $30 and medium go to about $45 and the large ones are $70!!!

You simply bring in your lamp shade and give it to the lovely Mew! to do for you.

Have a look at what Mew has done with our cards!!, it looks awesome and is making people buy them like crazy.

Our First Post Ever!!

Hello All


We would like to welcome you all to our Short Story Blog!!

This is our very first post so hope you all enjoy.

So we should probably introduce ourselves.
Short Story consists of William and I ( Carolyn)

We started Short Story in 2009, after doing a small business course at Box Hill, and ever since then we have plugged on.

We Decided to start Short Story when a bunch of friends religiously visited the night markets at Queen Vic. And we vowed to return the next year each with a different product, unfortunatly they bailed and me and Will were left. ( the whole story can be read here.

Unfortunately we didnt get in to Queen Vic in 2009, but are proud to say this year we are IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Starting Nov 17 we will be at the Suzuki Night Markets from 5:30 till 10:00, fro three months straight..... ( yay......)
